Margo Christensen is Vice President of Marketing for Ponderosa Hotel Management Services, LLC overseeing marketing, advertising, public relations, corporate sponsorships and social media. Margo began her career with PHMS in 1997 as Director of Sales in Flagstaff. She became General Manager of the Comfort Inn Flagstaff then went on to become Regional Director of Sales for the Flagstaff and Santa Fe properties. In 2001, she became Vice President of Marketing for all properties.

Margo serves on the Board of Directors for the Arizona Lodging and Tourism Association – the leading legislative advocate for the tourism and lodging industry in Arizona. She is an Executive Board Member for Prescott Downtown Partnership and is one of the founding members of the City of Prescott Tourism Advisory Committee.

Previous to her lodging career, she spent seven years working for America West Airlines, studied Hotel Restaurant Management at Northern Arizona University and received her Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing from the University of Phoenix.

When not working, she enjoys traveling, hiking, canoeing and regularly practices hot yoga at a local studio. She enjoys tending to a large raised bed garden of herbs and vegetables and has a passion for cooking and collecting cookbooks.

Originally from Eureka, California, Margo has lived in Arizona since 1985 and currently resides in the country north of Prescott with her husband, Brad and two daughters, Savannah and Sierra.
